Winter’s just right for a wonderland of snuggly coffee drinks

Even when the weather outside is frightful, these coffees are so delightful. And you have options! Each can be made with our without a shot of distilled spirits for a little extra warmth.

Maple gingerbread latte

This one is wonderful with a piece of homemade gingerbread. But enjoying it all on its own is a real treat, too.

Ingredients (Makes 1 latte):

  • 1 cup of your choice of milk
  • ½ cup strong coffee (Try our Original Roast)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • A pinch of allspice powder
  • A pinch of grated nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, plus more for final drizzle
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 shot of rye whiskey (optional)
  • Whipped cream

Directions:

  • Brew the coffee.
  • Warm your milk in a pan on medium heat OR using a steamer or frother if you have one.
  • Pour the coffee into the milk, then add the ground ginger, allspice, nutmeg, maple syrup, vanilla, and rye whisky if using.
  • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, and drizzle with maple syrup

Salted caramel mocha

Oh salted caramel, how we love you.

Salted-Caramel-Mocha

Ingredients (Makes 2 Mochas):

  • 1 cup of your preferred milk
  • 1 cup of hot, strong coffee (Try our Red Wagon)
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 shot of bourbon (optional)
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate for grating
  • Flaky sea salt

Directions:

  • Heat milk in a saucepan on low heat
  • Brew coffee
  • Place milk, coffee, cocoa, caramel sauce, butter and bourbon (if using) in a blender and blend until frothy.
  • Pour the mixture into two mugs.
  • Top lightly with whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate and flaky sea salt

Holiday eggnog latte

Ingredients (Makes 1 latte):

  • 2 ounces very strong coffee (Try our French No. 6)
  • ½ cup eggnog
  • ¼ cup milk of your choice
  • 1 shot of brandy (optional)
  • Whipped cream
  • Grated nutmeg
  • Cinnamon stick

Directions:

  • Brew the coffee
  • Combine the eggnog and milk in a milk frother or steamer, OR simply heat them up together in a small saucepan.
  • Pour the milk and eggnog mixture into a mug.
  • Add the coffee and brandy if using.
  • Top with whipped cream and a little grated nutmeg and drop in a cinnamon stick.
